Firefox: Benchmark Test Basemark Web 3.0īasemark is a benchmark testing tool that is used for testing web browser performance like geometry test, SVG test, page loading, WebGL test, and various other factors. Update: I have updated my Acer Nitro 5 to Windows 11 Home. Do note that your computer might show different benchmark scores for different browsers, as it depends on system configuration. Also, I have disabled all the extensions on all three browsers so that they don’t interfere with the benchmark testing.
#Firefox vs chrome for mac windows 10
Now from “July 2021” I will be using Acer Nitro 5 that comes with AMD Ryzen 5 4600H, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, and Nvidia GTX 1650, and Windows 10 Home. In the earlier test (February 2020 – May 2021), I used HP Pavilion 15 laptop with Intel i5-4200U, 8 GB RAM, and 1 TB Hard Disk. Also, at the end of the article, I have shown all the tested results. The last time I tested and compared Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox was in May 2021 and now I am testing again in December 2021 to see how much performance has been changed till now. Ever since that day, Edge has become my default browser to see how it performs on day-to-day usage. On January 15, 2020, a stable version of the Edge browser based on Chromium was released. I always wondered how it would compete with other browsers in the market since they are already performing well.

I have been using Edge Browser ever since Microsoft released its beta version of the Edge browser based on chromium.
